We also have beauty and charity in this story - but let's start at the beginning.
This is about beauty pageants, and the fact women with a criminal record apparently aren't allowed to enter them.
Do they really check such things? Anyway, someone in Hungary has decided that this is discriminatory, or potentially lucrative - or both - and has announced a beauty pageant open only to women who have a criminal record.
For some reason not explained in media reports, not just any criminal record will do. It has to be Mafia-related criminal activity in which the beauty aspirant was involved.
Contestants have to submit a police mug shot, details of charges and time spent in jail before they can appear before the judge - of the beauty contest kind.
The event will be held in a bar once bombed in a Mafia clan fight. The winner - of the beauty contest, not the clan fight - gets a car and an apartment in Budapest.
"We have thieves, fraudsters, gang members, bank robbers and swindlers, so it should be an interesting night,'' an organiser said.
