No phony diamonds here

One day after posting this story about a solid gold, jewel-encrusted Monopoly set, we hear about an iPhone worth £5 million.
Normally we would translate British pounds into US dollars to help non-British readers understand the amount involved, but in this case it seems entirely unnecessary. It's a truckload of money.
The custom decorated iPhone 4 is the work of Liverpool, UK, designer Stuart Hughes, who likes adding value to gadgets, including televisions, by liberally applying gold and diamonds and other stuff like that.
Now he has made what he's claiming is the world's most expensive phone, with large parts handmade from rose gold, with 500 individual diamonds around the sides and an Apple logo made from another 53 diamonds.
Not one to leave on the bus.
